Items to Always Keep in Your Car

Driving down the streets of Los Angeles in a new Honda is something that any car lover would enjoy. A new vehicle feels like a special treat, whether you’re a young driver or have many years of experience on the road. When you lease a new Honda Accord in Los Angeles, you’re guaranteed to get behind the wheel of a vehicle that is fully stocked with all the features you could want. While safety and entertainment features come with the vehicle, did you know there are additional items you should store in your car to ensure your comfort and safety? Before you start adding the mileage to a newly purchased vehicle, consider adding these must-have items to your trunk, glove compartment, or storage consoles:

Emergency Supply Kit

No one likes to think about being stranded or running into an emergency situation, but it’s better to be prepared than not. To equip your car with everything you need, consider purchasing a pre-assembled emergency supply kit. Alternatively, you can create your own by compiling a few items. You’ll need a blanket, bottles of water, jumper cables, and a flashlight. Make sure you test the batteries periodically to ensure that they’re in good working order.

Kids Entertainment

If you have young children, you know how important it is to keep them entertained, whether you’re on a long road trip or just running errands around town. Use a storage caddy or the console in the back seat to store some items like books, coloring books and crayons, and a few DVDs if your vehicle is equipped with an entertainment system. Baby Wipes

Baby wipes are every driver’s secret weapon. They have a myriad of uses when it comes to keeping your vehicle clean. Use them to clean spills on the seats, to wipe mud off your shoes before getting in the vehicle, to clean children’s sticky hands, or even to spot treat any dirt or grimy spots on the exterior of your vehicle. When you can treat stains, spills, or sticky spots right away it means you’ll have an easier time cleaning them up and keeping your vehicle looking its best.

Garbage Bags

It’s normal for trash to accumulate in your vehicle, from food wrappers to tissues and parking receipts, but when it’s allowed to pile up, you can quickly be left with quite the mess on your hands. Keep a few spare garbage bags tucked in a side console to easily tame trash. You can also use them to store muddy hiking boots and keep the trunk clean, or dirty towels from wiping your dog’s paws off after a rainy day excursion.
